What is PetroChallenge?

Hands-on educational event that allow students to gain insight into the decision-making process of oil and gas companies by utilizing the OilSim simulator. Students work as a team to explore the entire exploration and production business process.

Benefits of Participating?

Here is your opportunity to not only gain decision-making insight but to interact with other students with similar interest. You will also get the chance to meet university personnel and engage with potential future employers.

Registration will open in August - stay tuned!

A limited number of participants will be accepted for this event so registration confirmation is on a first come, first serve basis. If registration is full, you will be wait-listed and then contacted if a space becomes available.

Upon arriving at the event, you will be placed on a multi-disciplinary team with two other students. It is recommended that you bring a laptop, if you have one.
